Using marker for drawing!

Hi there people!!

I bought a thick marker recently and i love the marker! The marker is made in Japan~

I was actually looking for copic marker when i came across this marker.

It was not easy using it thought because the tip is thick, thus it makes it harder to control the way i draw. But overall, i feel that it gives a great impact on my drawings, instead of using thin black marker to outline my drawings.

By the way, for this drawing, i did not outline it using this marker, i just instantly drew a character just by using this marker. I just wanted to test how good the marker is.

Brother's BMT POP!

Hey everyone!

On 12 Oct, Saturday, my brother finally graduated from his BMT Training (Basic Millitary Training) after 5 months!! He went into army on 12 June (My birthday...) My family and I were so happy that he finally graduated and is able to stay home for at least a week. We went to marina bay to see his POP (Passing Out parade) It was really sunny that day, thank god it wasn't raining, haha!

School reopens...

Hi minnnaaa!!! 

It is finally the first day of school for sem 2 (Year1), and i was really glad that it was a good start! I took diploma plus for sustainability course, and i manage to make friends there, heehee. I was really glad to see my good friends in poly and i'm blessed to have them as my good friends *Smiles*

BUT! I'm really sad that the holiday ended and alas... I can't play my PS3 *Sigh* 

Well... I guess it is time to do my best and endure another 8 weeks of school term ya! I'm gonne do my best!!!!

Yes!!!! I miss drawing!

I have not been drawing for almost 7 weeks!

Its the September break (7 weeks break for me), and i'm baccccck to drawwwwing!!!! Haha!

Well, here are some drawings i drew recently~

I was thinking of adding some colors to this picture, but i guess its just a sketch to me... So ya, don't feel like coloring it. I was thinking that i should try drawing more guys, haha, so i drew this! XD

I actually want the girl to look fashionable, wearing those Korean fashion dress. She is definitely a shopaholic in this picture! Haha. Alot of things were in my mind when i first drew this (like a story behind this drawing...) I was thinking 1) the girl is a shopaholic who likes to dress up 2) She wants to get married and wear a wedding dress, and finally 3) to marry a guy who don't mind her being materialistic and a spender...

So ya, this is a guy character whom i will feature in my next manga as the 2nd main character~ Gosh i love guys with spiky hair XD (I mean anime guys)

Steps to drawing anime (My style) When i'm drawing scenery, and not the character alone, i would always draw the outline of the whole body first so that it is easier to give it details (2nd panel) then i will add more details to enhance the features, and finally... SHADING!  

Steps to drawing anime girl (My style) I was inspired by this manga artiest called sophiechan (She is a youtuber) So i drew this and added different colors of shadings. By the way, this is actually my anime character - Kagura Ikira~!

New Colored Contact lens~!

Yes! I have my second new pair of colored contact lens! 

Its blue color, the name is called sparkling blue (If i remembered correctly...)

I love this color because it can be seen even from far unlike my previous light blue contact lens...

Well, i guess the color is not too clear in this picture :/

Anyways, compared to normal contact lens, this colored contact lens is rather dry for my eyes. I have to use eye drops to hydrate my eyes, so its kinda inconvenient (Especially in cinemas where the environment is cold, your eyes get dry easier) 

But even so, colored contact lens can really enhance your look, especially if you have naturally dark colored eyes (Mine is dark brown...) and it goes well with make up too~!

Teeth extraction D:

Hi everyone~!

Its September! And I'm having my holiday~ 

Sigh, its gonne be a long holiday (7 weeks! Omg!) i can't wait that long :( My brain is gonne rot... I don't exactly like long holiday, 3 to 4 weeks would be just right, heehee. My friends are all looking for jobs, some already had a job, but i'm at home... Slacking :( I wanne work, but i have reasons for not finding a job. 

Well, i did found a job, but they had not called me for interview *Cries* and there is also another job, but i accidentally turn their offer down, how stupid of me...

But well, i don't really wanne work actually (As for now only...) The reason is because i have to do braces and get used to it... 

I'm doing braces this holiday, and i'm quite shock i have to extract 4 teeth, OMG. I wasn't really prepared for the extraction. I was brave enough to do it on the day of the 1st dental checkup (I though it was only checkup, no extraction whatsoever) Well, i now having problems eating... I can't eat anything that requires biting *Sob* Gosh... So as of now, i'm only eating porridge and oats, and i get hungry easily, haha!  

My gum still aches sometimes (Especially when i'm having my meals) and it hurts abit when i try to bite. I have NO IDEA why, but it seriously irritates me when i can't bite. I have to endure this until the next dentail appointment *Sigh* Oh, and it hurts a little when i smile :( I remember watching comedy and laughing, and then... My gum hurts... 

Well, this is the aftermath of the extraction. I look like crap, haha. My gums are actually bleeding behind the mask. When i got home, i took off the mask and i saw so much blood stain on it. 

The process of extracting my tooth is not pain at all. But! After the medication wear off, omg.. The pain is just unbelievable! It was really painful, i had trouble sleeping at night too

Parents meeting session

HIIIIIIIII people!

Its really late now, but i guess i'll still take some time to blog.

Recently, i got alot of projects from school!!!

I've never had that much projects before in my life *Sobs*

I have 5 projects, which includes 2 reports. And all these has high percentage on them...

Oh gosh, i have to learn to adapt to having lots and LOTS of projects...

Today, i have a parents meeting session, and my parents were so exacted to see my PTN (Form teacher) 

I was abit embarrassed because my father was so enthusiastic unlike other parents. Other parents were acting normal, but my father was so excited, lol...

But i guess it turned out fine.. I got to see my final grade, and i still did ok (Thanks god...)

By the way, my brother came back from army yesturday, and i'm sooooooooo Happy~~~ Wheeeeee~~~ Although i don't show it, i'm not a type of person who can express herself easily, haha. 

Well, its time to sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeep...

Wedding dress drawing

YO People~

I was bored yesterday night, so i went to draw a random wedding dress, lol! 

I wonder if i could even fit into a wedding dress, and i doubt myself because 1) I'm SHORT (156cm... T_T) 2) I don't have a figure... I might have an hour glass figure, but my legs are so fat, and my upper arm is so flappy, haha! 

But i hope to get a nice wedding dress when i get older~ (Wth, i sound like a dreamy person...)

Make up Workshop~!!!

Hiya people~!

Recently, i attended a makeup workshop held by FOREVER LIVING the company.

I was told to be a model (Haha!) My aunt was the teacher for the workshop.

I'm not exactly a type of person who likes putting on makeup. If i were to do makeup, i would at most put concealer(To cover up my dark circles under my eyes) and mascara to make my lashes thinker. I don't like removing makeup because i'm really lazy, so thats why i don't bother to put any eye shadow etc. I don't put BB Cream or foundation because i think my face condition is still "presentable" (And i have NO IDEA whats the difference between concealer and foundation... :/)

Anyways, through being the model for the makeup workshop, i tried on BB Cream for the 1st time and it was soooooo SMOOTH!!!! I love it! The product they use in the makeup workshop ALL comes from FOREVER LIVING, so i guess the products are rather natural and high quality products too.

In addition, the person who helped me to do the makeup did a 'smokey eye' makeup for me. Well, she did not want to do too dark smokey eyes because my face can't really have thick makeup due to my sharp features, and anyways, its not like i'm going to any party or whatsoever, haha!

Everyone was like trying to take a photo of me during the makeup lesson, haha! It was rather embarrassing!

The makeup isn't as thick as i expected. But either way, the makeup cannot really be seen in this photo. My face was really REALLY porcelain fair! Omg... Some people at the workshop recommended me to be a model for the face, AHAHAHA!!! Like i can, lol! My nose is too small!!  

My bestfriend saw this photo, and she was like "Wow, you look so MATURE! Like you're 28 yrs old!" OMG! What an insult! I DON'T WANNE LOOK OLDERRRRRRR!!!!!!! I am like almost 10 yrs older after putting on make up, wth?!!??!

But still, i love the makeup (Heehee) Becuase it really enhances my features somehow, and the product is so SMOOOOOTH~~~~

Neck pain... :(

Yo people! 

The haze today is approximately PSI 103, but the sky looks so horrible... Its so smokey... 

Today, my neck hurts... It seems i have a bad sleeping position yesterday night. And i can't sleep well yesterday again... So ya, i have some aches on my neck... :/ I can't bend my neck properly...

I hope it will get better tomorrow! 

Anyways, next week will be the new term in poly! I can't wait to start school again~ I wanne see my friends again and do some work!

Gosh i've been slacking at home :/ I've become more lazier... *Sigh*

Horrible haze...

Hiya people!

Today's weather is really bad :(

In the day time, it was blazing hot!

It was all because of the horrible haze!

The haze has reached a dangerous level (PSI : 117 as of 7pm)

The danger range is above 100...

Thank god i don't have any health issue due to the haze

I really hope that the haze will go away...

Here is a new drawing i drew~ I was inspired by a manga that has vampire involve (I forgot what the title of the manga is, and its not the manga vampire knight...)

My friend commented on facebook saying that the guy's fangs are too short, haha!

S.E.A Aquarium!

Hiya everyone~

Recently, i went to S.E.A Aquarium in sentosa and it is quite a great experience.

But i was hoping for more sharks though *Laughs*

I went there with my family on sunday and i really enjoyed myself because it has really been so long since my family had such a great bonding season~

This trip is mean to celebrate my upcoming birthday, but i also want it to be a great and memorable trip for my brother (Who is going to NS on the same day as my birthday, how sad...)

Even thought i mentioned that the trip was fun and all, my family and i waited for almost 1 hr just to get into the Aquarium! Omg, the queue is just way to long!

Anways, i have taken some pictures with my new phone~ :) But, i'm not gonne post alot (Lazy...)

Samsung Galaxy S4

Yo people~

I finally have my Samsung Galaxy S4~! :D

I'm so happy~!

But! I'm really not good at using it... I always need my brother's help :/

As i had mentioned(In my previous post), I NEVER use a smart phone before... So ya, this is my first time using a smart phone, and it is also the latest phone.

Currently, i'm addicted to installng new applications to my phone, especially those cute cameras which you can use to take kawaii pics of yourself, haha! Okay, i'm not exactly into camwhore, but i really find all the cameras interesting, haha!

I love my new phone, and i also miss my old phone too *Cries*

Currently now (While i'm blogging), I'm installing songs into my phone *Smiles*

Oh! And i really REALLY love Watsapp and line~~~ I just had a stupid and hilarious chat with my bestfriend and we were like spamming each other with stickers in line! Lol!

However, i realised that my new phone runs out of battery really easily... I was so used to only charging my old phone every 2 to 3 days, but with this new phone, i charge it almost everyday... Oh gosh, even with all the great functions, having low battery is making me feel as if i should not always use my phone for playing random games... :/

I chose a white S4 because it is more pure and it looks nice with a pink protective cover~

June Holiday~

Hi ya everyone~

Its June and it is finally the Holiday~ Yay~~

But! I still have some projects to do... *Cries*

Anyways, i'm happy it is finally the holidays because i can get to do MORE DRAWINGSSSSSS~ YES!

I wonder if i should start a new manga? I was actually planning to, but my manga has something to do with guitar... And i am not good at drawing them... *Sigh*

By the way, my birthday is next week... But i'm abit depressed not because i'm getting older (I'm happy to get older, lol), but because my brother is going NS on the SAME day as my birthday... HOW DEPRESSING... *Sigh* 

So my family plans to celebrate my birthday this coming Saturday. I wonder where i should go and celebrate my bday? Should i go to the S.E.A Aquarium in Sentosa?

Anyways, my mother is planning to buy me a samsung galaxy S4 for my birthday! Horray!! I was planning to pay half the price so that she doesn't need to pay the full amount (Full amount cost like a thousand... Omg...) I can FINALLY have a new phone~ with internet!

I am in Poly and i do not own a smart phone, and that is really horrible because ALLLLL my classmates uses smart phone, and they have this Watsapp application where they create a group and chat in it... I feel kinda left out, but thats okay! I'm still happy that i have a phone at least! (Or maybe i don't really understant the importance of Watsapp, hahahaha!) 

But should i really have a phone for my birthday? I was hopping to get copic markers for drawing, and it cost $79 online... Nah... I really need a new phone...

So ya, i took quite awhile to draw out a person playing guitar. I was really inspired by YUI!!! She is my FAVOURITE Singer~ And she always uses a guitar in her music~ So this character somehow resembles YUI, oh and i was planning to create a manga using this character i had drawn~!

Exam week!

Hiya~

Its morning and i'm blogging! Haha, i don't usually do blogging in the morning.

Next week will be my MST week, aka exam week *Cries*

I only have 3 modules to study - IT Business, microeconomics, PACC(POA)

But even if it is only 3 modules, i must do my best! 

IT Business is getting more okay for me (In fact, i find it rather interesting!)

I have not really memorise Microeconomics (Gonne do it later!!!)

And as for PACC... I think i have to work harder on that! *Sweats*

So ya, after this MST week, i'm gonne go out and have fun with my poly friends~!!!! We planned to go shopping, haha! I am not really a great shopper, but thank god my poly friends are great shopper(holic)

Gotta study hard!!! 

P.s. I realized i'm always writing about school(i feel like a nerd), i even thought of changing my blog url to something related to school! But in the end, i just change it to "my-drawing-life.blogspot.com" Because i guess i am more happier if i draw as compared to studying!

Btw, my brother is going to NS soon next month - ON MY BIRTHDAY.... wth?!?!?!?!?!?! ARH!!! That shall be my worst birthday ever *Sob*

Heya Minna~

I'm glad to be blogging now~ Haha

Its kinda late and i have to go to sleep so that tmr i'll have a fresh morning!

And i have to do my assignments given by my school!

I love poly!

Its been a month since i enter my new school~

I've made great friends! I love my new friends! They are all fun people~ Of course, i still miss my old friends and also my bitchy best friend! Haha! Its too bad we're in different post secondary school (Sigh-)

Anyways, i think all my lecturers and tutors are friendly and they teach really well~! 

My currently favorite module is FOM (Fundamentals of marketing) I love that module because it is really interesting and it is somehow related to my mother's business! So of course i love it~ Its easy to understand too (Its quite logical in a way)

I also like Micro-economics! Its really interesting! But the sad thing is i don't exactly understand what the lecturer is teaching most of the time. I would revise on this module and that is when i really adsorb and understand it. Nonetheless, the lecturer is an interesting person because he is super sarcastic. Haha! Sometime i accidentally took his sarcasm seriously, haha! Lol! 

But the module that i'm not really interested in is ITB (Information Technology Business)  I'm not really an IT person. Currently, i'm learning more about excel and when it comes to hands on, i would keep cursing when i just couldn't understand, lol! Well, my mouse is also to be blame too! Its so hard to use because there is something wrong with the censor of the mouse... 

However, after learning more about excel, i think its really useful for many things! I will continue to improve and learn to have interest in this module!

I'm also currently studying PACC (aka principal of accounts) and i have to say... Its extremely boring... The worst part is i never listen to what my lecturer says. I catch no balls every lessons!!! But luckily, i have a friend who had learnt PACC and she taught me abit (When i ask her any questions)

Although i don't listen much in class during PACC, i'm still able to do the questions. I tend to refer to examples in the Textbook and from there i apply it on the questions. It was okay for me to do that (And i have been doing that since secondary school when i was learning E math...) So its like i do PACC without any teacher... Lol.. 

I told my lecturer about it because i was afraid that it was wrong of me to not listen to his lessons. Yes, i told him i wasn't listening in his class... Lol! But he said that was how he learnt PACC in the past and it is okay. I was relief, phew!

Well, even so, i will still try my best to listen to his lessons (If i'm very awake on that day that is...)

So ya, i really hope my poly life will continue to be interesting! Currently i'm joining CCAs, and i hope to make new friends!

Hey hey everyone~! 

Its nice blogging again after some time~

Lately, i've been super addicted to a song.

The song is "Good-bye days" by YUI! 

It is base on a movie called "Midnight sun" (Or "A song to the Sun")

I LOVE THE SONG SO MUCH~! 

Its so innocent and sweet... And it somehow potray who i am, haha! (The calm and innocent one, lol!)

I gradually become a fan of YUI! I've been so into her songs ever since i started to listen to this song of hers, "HELLO" (A song base on the movie "Paradise Kiss")

I'm currently searching for new songs by YUI~ 

Anyways, the film "Midnight Sun" also star YUI as the main character!!!! So YUI is both a singer and an actor!!! Amazing~!!! 

I haven't watch the movie yet thought... I'll be watching it soon on my upcoming holiday (Wednesday~)

I can't wait to watch that wonderful (And also Sad....) Movie!!! I love YUI~~~!!!

My Motivation!!!!

So ya! Its Friday and its the end of my 1st week in Poly!

I enjoyed my time in poly very much!

I love my classmates and although i'm not exactly like my classmates who are super outspoken and are extroverts, i still enjoy being with them.

But there will be times when i feel lonely and (Somehow) bored, which makes people feel that i'm being an introvert (I'm not like that...)

Nonetheless, i want to do my best in all my modules and be like my brother who had been really successful in his poly years!

He achieved the model student award, he is the president of his club, he has very good grades (GPA of 3.8), he has one of the highest CCA points(Which ordinary students wouldn't get because that's crazy, yes, my bro is crazy when it comes to CCA...), he has many good friends around him who influence him and worked well with him, and on top of that, he is also able to be admitted into NUS! Furthermore, he is able to obtain a scholarship for IT in NUS(But he is considering majoring in business, not IT...)

He really inspired me to excel well in poly!

He has always been my main source of motivation when it comes to academics since i entered secondary school!

I always know that my brother and I are both somewhat alike in terms of character (Haaha), but i can't be too sure about that, lol!

Of course there will be times when i felt slightly pressured because my brother did so well in his academic, it makes me feel that i should do the same(Or even better...)

But alittle pressure is necessary! (Haha!)

I've got to do my best! I must carry on the legacy!

Bugis street! New clothes~

Hi ya everyone! 

Today i went shopping at bugis street, one of my favorite place to shop for really cheap clothes!

That is the only place where i will buy my clothes for school! There are so many clothes that is relevant and appropriate for students like me. 

I bought 4 clothes in total and it cost $50 in all~ Most of the clothes i bought are $15 and below, cheap isn't it? 

I'm not really a shopaholic, and i'm also a total opposite of being a spender.

I took approximately 2hrs to shop in bugis street. 

I'm surprised i'm actually quite enjoying myself while shopping! Usually i'll be bored, haha! Maybe there are clothes that i like there which caught alot of my attentions? lol

Anyways, I'm happy to finally get enough clothes for my poly! I'm still wondering if i should be buying sneakers... Haha! My current shoes for poly are hurting my feet, ouch!

New beginning, great beginning!

Hey hey everyone!

I just came back from school!

I love my school and my new classmates and friends are so nice and friendly!

I love my class alot~

Although i'm not exactly the type who always talks and interact with people(I'm abit shy, lol!) I still manage to make great friends who dare to tell their true feelings and also not judge people.

It is weird how my class got bonded so quickly to the point where they are planning to have dinner together (Haha!)

Although i guess it is nice to have dinner together with my new friends, isn't too... early? (Sweats)

But nonetheless, i admire them (I mean my classmates) because everyone are able to get along so well... Or maybe too well? Haha!

Anyways, although it can be lonely sometimes, but i try not to think about my secondary school friends, because thinking about them just makes me feel even lonelier...

Well, i am happy to have great new friends who are really (Super) Open and friendly. 

I will work hard for my poly years (3 years!) and achieve what i've always wanted! Ganbatte ne~!!!

Hey everyone~

Tmr will be the 1st day to my new school.

I'm kinda afraid and nervous

I'm scared i got lost in my new school because my school is really big and complicating (Although i have been there with my brother)

I'm scared of not knowing what to do there and got lost.

I'm even more afraid of not making any friends.

I hope that i will be able to bond with other people in the school and also make new great friends

Its gonne be tough but i'll stay positive and confident! 

I've already know who are my classmates (Although i havent met them yet, haha) and also how many people are there in my class

I'm happy there isn't so many people in the class, there are only 19 people in my class! I think this makes it easier to bond with my classmate. 

I have to be open to new people! 

I know i'm not good at making friends.... But i will not give up!

New School... Afraid...

Hey hey, i'm back~! 

So ya, school is going to start soon... About 2 weeks from now

I've been waiting to enter into my new school since december last year. So i've been waiting for approximately 6 months from now. 

I have always wanted to enter school and dreaded the holidays. But now when school is going to start soon, i start to get very anxious...

Maybe because it is a new school? Right, i'm not always good at adapting to a new environment... :(

I wouldn't have my friends to be there to support me *Cries*

I miss my friends so much *Sobs*

But still, i can't give up! I must learn to be INDEPENDENT! 

I've never been good at making new friends, or even socialising with new people. Yup you can call me a shy person or even an introvert... *Sigh*

Nonetheless, i hope to make great friends who will support me through my 3 years in poly!

Btw, i heard my new school will have a manga club~!!!!! Yes!!! I'm so so so gonne join that club!!!!!! And make new friends too, as well as to draw more~!!!

Hetalia!

Hey hey everyone~!

Recently i'm obsessed with the anime "Hetalia"!!!

I really love the anime because it is really funny and i love each and every character's personality.

Whats even better is that the anime is only 5 mins long! So i would take approximately an hour to complete 10 episodes~

My favorite character in hetalia has got to be England~! He has the same voice actor as william T Spears from Kuroshitsuji! And i love his voice (In jap dub)!!! And his personality is so serious yet somehow comical! Haha!

Here is England! The character which is the big Onii-san! Ya, he has a bushy eyebrows, haha! And there is america, the cute little one. Isn't it cute to see them together like that~?  

Anyways, I've been practicing drawing the sky in anime version, thought i haven't tried colouring them yet...
I love how beautiful the sky is~

It was my first time using crayon to draw and colour the character

It was kinda hard to colour because i was not really used to crayons, haha! But i still tried my best. Using colour pencil is still the easiest for me!

My manga~

Hey hey everyone~! 

I'm currently creating a manga, but i just can't seem to complete the story(Yes, my planning suck...) 

But nonetheless, i will definitely try to complete my mangaaaa!!!! (Roar!) 

Anyways, the manga i always create is usually about romance(Shoujo manga...) because i guess thats the easiest to create? I also like to add in some comedy in my manga. But... I don't seem to be able to draw those funny expression of characters in manga. I guess i have to read more comedy manga to be able to draw better expressions.

In addition, i realised i always make the manga too.... serious i guess? Haha... 

Well, this is one of the manga i created.
I got the inspiration from a song name "kimi ni shiranai monogatari" ("The story you don't know")
Its by supercell! She is a great singer! :D

I hope to be posting more of my manga!
